| The
Guild of Educators (founded 2001) represents, within the City
of London, those who organise and provide learning and development
processes. Its freedom reflects the range of those involved
in the provision of education - whether as Primary school teachers,
university lecturers or business trainers; researchers or examiners;
administrators or governors; publishers or librarians, and membership
is irrespective of sector or discipline.
The Guild provides a forum for professional
and cross-sectoral debate. It supports and rewards excellence among
educators, and it encourages involvement in the civic life of the
City. Within the philanthropic tradition of City of London Livery
Companies, the Guild operates a charitable fund for the benefit
of education, training and development.
